The Farm

The 170 hectares organic Farm Fattoria La Torre, is surrounded by woods, meadows fields.

In there we breed, according to organic guidelines,  Chianina cows, Cinta senese and large white pigs, Appennine sheeps and all the courtyhard animals.

Fields are cultivate favoring crop rotation and part of soil stand and fertilized exclusively with the manure produced by our animals.

We produce a lot of cereals, vegetables, fruit and olive oil. All the breeded and the crops are cetified organic by ICEA.

Both the meat and the cheese are prepared in the butcher laboratory without the use of preservatives,a ddittives and flour.

The organic farm Fattoria la Torre, develops into a large plot of 170 hectares of land covered by woods, meadows and fields.

It was founded in the early 1990s by the owner's desire to eat healthy and homemade foods.

Over the time, the estate has grown, and the will to produce their own flour, meat, wine and oil, has always increased.

Therefore, an high quality product, respecting the soil and the tradition of the past, has been obtained.

Chianina cows, cinta senese and large white pigs, Apennine sheeps and all the courtyard animals are breeded according to the organic guideline. All meats are transformed in the butcher workshop, then can be purchased at the agritourism shop or tasted in the restaurant. Complying with the environment, the animals live mostly outdoor and are fed exclusively with our organic raw materials. Is it possible to buy cattle and pigs of any size for fattening. Fields are cultivated favoring crop rotation and leaving part of soil stand and fertilized exclusively with the manure produced by our animals. The farming business produces wheat, barley, spelled, field beans, chickpeas, lentils, beans and corn, which are in part intended to livestock and partly used for the agritourism. The large vegetable garden of about an hectare and several orchards of old varieties and native of the area, offering products with unique flavors, which end up directly on our table. All the breeding and the crops are certified organic by ICEA.

Both the meat and the cheese are prepared on site by our butcher, with the passion and experience, which was handed down by our farmers. All products are prepared without the use of preservatives, additives and flour and are suitable for celiacs. From the five hectares of vineyards, we produce white and red wine typical of the area. From the 1200 plants of olives we collect the oil that is transformed in the old oil mill.
