This is a secular representation, which is repeated according to a tradition that has never known stops.

It is opened from a medieval confraternity who play the “battistrangole” (an instrument that result in a scrap of metal sound)

and other people that bear the skull that symbolized Golgotha

and other symbols of the Passion.
